Most of my career (in San Francisco, London and Dublin) has been doing the much harder job of filling in what the rest of the brand looks like.
Currently I am working as a branding creative director for Sitecore, a global tech company that provides back-end CMS and analytics for Fortune 500 companies.
Previously I headed up the client based advertising at CBS Interactive - most ads appearing across a network of many sites including CNET.com, CBS.com, CBSSports.com and Gamespot.com.
Also, as an AIGA Programming CoChair/board member I organize many events for the SF design community. These include tours of companies with interesting design work (e.g. Facebook, Fitbit, SF Giants, AKQA etc) and panel discussions with leading SF designers on career orientated topics such as 'Career Paths in Design' and 'From Mocks to Reality'.
I've been been writing my blog, DesignCareer, since 2009 drawing from my wide experience to write about the career of being a designer. Feel free to email me topic suggestions if you have a something in mind…
